Wow!!

Wow!  I can't believe I haven't updated this blog in about two months.  It's time to get back on track . . . and back to more reading.  Well, it has been a great summer.  I just returned from a wonderful 2 1/2 week, life-changing trip to Hawaii!  It's the 4th time I've been to Hawaii and I just can't get enough.  It is not only gorgeous, but the Aloha spirit is definitely contagious - people are kind, full of spirit, and welcoming!  

I spent one week on the northshore of Oahu at a drum circle facilitation training!  Life-changing is the only way to describe my time there.  Good friends, hours of drumming, great conversation, deep connections, . . . lovely!

I then returned to Waikiki for a week of great food, relaxation, time on the beach, beautiful sunsets, and  of course catching up on some great summer reads - this is a book blog after all :) 

I was able to finish up the Kiki Lowenstein Scrapbook Cozy Series - very funny and well worth the read!  Main character is hilarious!
